Server Profile - Gameforge Metin2 US

Gameforge Metin2 US is the newest English language Metin2 server. Its introduction shocked many in the Metin2 community, as G4BOX is a Metin2 Licensee for the USA, and has operated their Metin2 server since 2007.
Being a new server, Gameforge's Metin2 US server still has a low player count, though the uptake seems promising. The source of the players seems to be either new players or those moving from other Gameforge servers however, leaving Metin2 US' player base relatively unchanged.
Nomenclature
As there are now two official "Metin2 US" servers, we try to remain consistent in our naming of them. As G4BOX was first with their Metin2 US server, we choose to retain this name for G4BOX's Metin2 US version. Another justification is that there is 3 year's worth of discussion, content, videos and so on all referring to "Metin2 US" in the context of G4BOX's server, and we believe this makes more sense to retain the intended name.
This is why we use and recommend the practice of always adding a "Gameforge" or "GF" prefix to this new Metin2 US Server. Gameforge Metin2 US, Gameforge US, GF US, GFUS etc.
