Metin2 US is easily the most popular English language Metin2 US server when ranked by player count. The latest available numbers released put the accounts total at over 4 million (keep in mind this publisher uses a merged database system where an account for one game is an account for all others), and the average CCU around 5 thousand. Started in the summer of 2007, its licensee has always been G4BOX, however it has been handled by various portals.

From 2007 to the end of 2008, Metin2 US was published solely by G4BOX, at http://metin2.us.
From January 2009 to August 2009, G4BOX then partnered with Wicked Interactive's SubaGames platform.
From August 2009 to the present, Metin2 US has been published on the Z8Games platform.


Servers
Initially, Metin2 US only had one server, FREE KINGDOM. This remains Metin2 US' most popular server, with some channels usually remaining full. In September 2008 after much user demand, a second server was launched. This new server is named NEW WORLD. The name was chosen by the community with a poll.

Unique Features
Metin2 US is the only English language server to have what are known as [MOD]s. These are regular players who are appointed limited authority, with the goal to keep order and maintain a clean global shout/call chat. In 2009, [MOD]s received the power to silence players for varying amounts of time.

Metin2 US is also the only server that currently runs the Monarch System. In this system, players may apply for and enter elections to be the King or Queen of their own nation. If they are the winner of the election, their position lasts from 1-2 months. They receive the power to teleport players, summon monsters and give map-wide bonuses of HP, attack power etc. They also receive a special unique armor that has a whopping 550 defense, 20% movement speed and 20% magic resistance.
