I could tell you now that if I was offered a job that I thought I would like, then I would be interested in applying for it. I think this is true for 99% of the world's population. Make a poll on the metinworld forums asking players if they would be interested in being a GM, GA, SGM or other rank they have and almost every vote will be yes. None of the people answering are asking or "begging" for a position. To ask for a job, you have to actually (do I have to explain this?...)
ask for it. And outright asking for a job in that situation is totally unprofessional, and if anything, would destroy any chances of getting it. Every single time I've seen somebody asking to be a [MOD] on US, I tell them that to just ask to be one should ensure that they never become one. They should wait until applications are invited, or wait to be approached and offered directly.
But you see, chris didn't offer me any job, and I didn't ask him to give me any. He explained what all the positions were and gave me some spreadsheets showing different roles and powers too, and we talked about them all. I was also given item, mob, map etc databses from sea, and some quest source code too, which we also discussed. I received various reviews of schematics for the server setup also. He talked about and answered questions about all of this.
Why? Because I'm interested in metin, and interested in metin2 sea (I know you "know" I hate sea and want it to die, but I say roph disagrees
). Not once did Christopher offer me any kind of job, and neither did I ask (or "beg"
).
