Since July 2011, registration of new player in Metin2SG has increased by 30% to 60% every month. Buying, selling or trading of account in Metin2SG became a rampage in some Metin2 fan forum outside our jurisdiction. There are cases where some players embarked on such profitability to level up new account for the purpose of sales. Sales of account as a form of revenue is common in every MMOs. Therefore, the risk of scamming became more prominent when real cash is involved. Most often, it is difficult to identify a genuine seller and scammer doesn't know when they will be contended with their ripped off.
On average, there is approximately 2 to 3 cases of scamming every week which involves account buying, selling and trading. Simple cases are easier to manage but there have been cases where the scammer sold an account to more than 3 buyers and our final decision upon investigation is only fair that the said account be permanently banned, thereby having 3 or more victims who lost their money.
With the above consideration, the Board of Management have conducted a post mortem and passed a decision with effect from 30th Jan 2012 that account buying, selling and or trading is legal WITH the intervention of a Game Admin [GA] in this forum section. Of course, a sum of 10,000 Tec Point will be imposed upon the buyer or seller for account buying, selling or trading so that this implementation will not be abused. The Board of Management has also designed the Terms & Condition for account buying, selling and or trading which must be meticulously complied at all time.

The owner is a corrupt ex-US GM who wrote several times to Gameforge complaining about stuff we got.
He also claimed SG had 50 players online by posting a playercount snapshot taken right after a server maintenance at 5am or so.
That guy is a GF doggy who hates us don't support his site.
