Topic: Assuntina, The First Level 99 Archer For Metin2 US

One thing is undeniable, some classes are better at PVM (player vs monster) than others. Warriors and Suras (especially mirage suras) dominate the lists of level 99 players on most servers that have any. The class that arguably has the toughest time fighting monsters is the Archer Assassin. Her skills all target only one enemy, and she has only one buff, a movement speed increase.

Archers are the least played class globally. Sorting all the character information ever used at liquiron by subclass choice yields the following result:

Because of these things, it's impressive to finally see a level 99 archer. This comes a long time after the server's first level 99 player, back in June 2010. The honor goes to Metin2 US New World player Assuntina. Congratulations!

She was able to reach 99 only because of the eternal fire ring and the other one on Xmas. With those Private Server ring is not hard at all.

you can make easy lv 90+ with poly in golems etc

For those dumb pricks above me, that ring got taken off the mall ages ago, and they only last for 15  days. Oh and she doesn't use poly.

Rings are not available since 15 days, but she used them before. She made 98 thanks to those rings she just made 1 more level without, it is not an impressive effort.

@bot, so what?, the rings were in mall for 2 weeks or so, so its not like she used them for a lifetime. One of those rings lasts for 15 days, so the max amount she could've got is 2.

15 days is enough to make 99 from 92(Look at Chifi or w.e his name is - Argus on SG)
and to 92 is easy like hell

When it is so easy, why is there no other archer type lvl 99? I think it is quite an accomplishment, nicely done!
And yeah, you can always nag about things that make leveling more easy, but in the end, its a game, why bother to do so? Spend your time doing useful things instead of b!tching around.

Maybe only now when Mercs start to give exp its not  big deal. But she lvl up far more then lvl 98 at Ice Mobs. With ring or not its terrible to lvlup not using HS or AOS or any other skill. Ring is not for forever not 15days its just for 7 days on .US and gives 50% exp more . Just imagine when realy strong Sura Mirage or Arahan on this lvl killing very fast lots of Mobs can get about 0,5% per hour with ring its about 0,75%. I bet Archer can't kill more then half of this mobs , so u think its easy

I think last half of 98 lvl she make after .US get update when mercs start to give large exp. Even that she have done great job goin so far.

Maybe only now when Mercs start to give exp its not  big deal. But she lvl up far more then lvl 98 at Ice Mobs. With ring or not its terrible to lvlup not using HS or AOS or any other skill. Ring is not for forever not 15days its just for 7 days on .US and gives 50% exp more . Just imagine when realy strong Sura Mirage or Arahan on this lvl killing very fast lots of Mobs can get about 0,5% per hour with ring its about 0,75%. I bet Archer can't kill more then half of this mobs , so u think its easy

Just 1 thing, that ring gave 30% more damage and 20% vs mobs. This means 50% against those monster, which means that an assassin had the same damage of a warrior with Aura. So your statement makes no sense.

Imo its a good achievment but only if she leveled up without the ring. Can you tell me what level she was before this ring update?

There was a ring before the one of happiness called the Eternal Fire i think. So if she was 93 with that ring she became 97 and then she used another for 7 days which helped to reach 98 and 99.

Its a nice achievement because its not easy even with those rings, but would been better if she did this before those overpowered mall items. Just my opinion.

U are wrong this last ring had 30% vs mobs  and no % dmg increase. And ofc it wasnt in mall all the time as u think.

I am not trolling her nor her achievement. I am not even saying that the ring was in the mall 24/7, i just said that without this ring all would be much harder for her, and since your not denying that she used it, i have a point.

I don´t really know the situation on the .us server, but on the german servers this isn´t hard at all. Especially not with the new mallitems.
As an archer u lvl almost the same like a dagger assassin. u dont need any skills cause you´re using dwc(?) with high average dmg and the speedbuff is more useful than u would think. on our servers its way easier to get an archer to lvl 99 than doing it with any of the mages or black magic sura...

Well I've spoken to her hubby (my guild leader). He pointed out that she was lvl 97 with 70% when the Christmas ring landed in the item mall.

Seriously, ramzi, zabuza & dyva rose 3 levels during the Christmas - exp event, so its a lie if you say none of them used that ring.
Even on FK, there is no lvl 99 sin, only 96 & 94 DAGGER. If it'd be that easy as you claim to get a archer to 99, why do you see no lvl 99 dagger sins on the hero list?

Oh, and to the rest that think they got balls of steel & lvling a archer using only normal hits is easily achieved, try to make 10% without any hs/aos/ or any other buff skill.

Only archers will understand what a high lvl of difficulty this task has.

My bad, I must've skipped through that name.

Maybe it would've been, but she accomplished it (as an archer), it doesn't matter when she did it,at the end of the day,  she has reached the currently highest lvl in game.

I didn't shoot for you, I said "for those who think its a easy task".

GZ!, its a great and hard work to exp a archer untill lvl99, I know other archer that made the same (metin2.es), and its damm hard to do it, he spent a lot of hours to achieve lvl99. No matter what she used to exp, she made a great job, and for thoose that says that is not hard to do it, do it and then speak about it. =)

Thank you liquiron for the very complete presentation and the news  you always bring to us .
I am Assuntina  you are all talking about .
I have only 2 things to say .
1.Thank you very much to all players , blues , yellows , reds and
2.Having already  10% from level 99 when new exp system iniziated
  nothing changed for me .Whitout new exp system  i would only retard getting to lvl 99 for about one week to get the rest of lvl 99.
I invested a lot of effort and time and only Archers and players who know me understand the whole situation .
The rest of you who think that it was easy i  invite you to go, not to wc1  or wc2   because it is impossible without AOS AND HS  ,  but to go to  V2 and try to kill the room with only hits .Go and see yourself how easy it is .LOL
