Edues: What happed here is that one p server (Alpine) had a lot of players that play .SG, and Chris was angry coz the Alpine had ''his players''
So Chris said that he will shut down all the Englsih Private Servers

It seems that i only can play Italian servers as Chris will close all the English Servers and i only can play German servers with a patch

SG - best server but dead = boring to play
US - corrupted sv without updates,gold bots but why they fuck ppl crying about updates? when 90% game dont have 66+9 armor,still u can have fun on US (pvp,warrs) but anw = boring to play.
UK- corrupted sv,with ALOT players,gold bots,there u can make 500kk per day = boring to play     
Metin2 = boring game!!!
But still like Edues said,i play coz friends,and to have fun... when im with friends i have fun

Anw,when they open again(in few days) they will have more players then SG,and thats sad really..
But 1 question,Alpine is closed coz Rumor's ego and Cata coz using SG files,ok.
But heh Chris close 2 server in 1 week,and 10 new come in 2 days xD there is no point of that,and players from closed P servers wont come on SG so hes just wasting time ^^
and SG is partner with Epvpers,forum wich make hacks for metin,ilegal trades,stealing files from officals(SG UK US) editing em,and selling.. huh weird isnt it.

Its like running from cops for all your life. Once u settle down and think u have hidden they come and find u and u have to run again, how long till u get sick of it?

Some ppl preffer spent 2 weeks or 1 month in a private server with his friend, with a lot of fun than work in a official like the SG that in a 80% you only can do PvM.
And yes, That players will hate SG and play other thing or other server

When i got scammed/hacked (w/e u call it) on metin2.uk after like 2-3 years of playing i also thought i will never play metin again. I tried many other games, but non carried me away like metin did, so i stoped playing any games at all. After some time i started to play private servers of metin2, i played many of them some time ago. I had fun with friends, i get bored i left, i found new server which gaved me more what i wanted and when i get bored i left it again, it conitinued some time until i get bored of private servers in general, its just too easy, i get no satisfaction in acomplishing anything there, since its childs play, nothing is exciting any more, u get bored from pvp as well, so i stoped metin2 again. After some months i got call from an old friend on .uk to come check out .sg and i did and here i am

The p servers have changes a lot Asteria, now are more entertaining, i mean a good private server, there are a lot of p servers, and is dificult found a good one (United was one), but when u found it u will get a lot of fun with your friends.
And i dont say that you have to buy Item Shop in a p server, i never did it (even me and my friedns were top1 ) and i wont do it, im 100% against it

I didnt said i wasnt enjoying time i played on p servers (why would i play if i didnt). I am saying u get bored after 1 month (like u said yrself) and then u have to start all over again.

Doing that every month would make me really exausted and i would quit after like 3 p servers anyways, no matter what goodies they offer.

I prefer comitting to something for a long time. Earn acomplishments. Put a hard work in getting something i want. And when u finally reach the thing u were going for on offical server, no dam p server could ever replace that nice feeling. I come from metin2.uk, when i left that offical, they had JUST implemented soul stones, i had never been over lvl80+, all the quests, everything was new to me in .sg, heavens lier ect ect and there are updates coming and coming and coming. In p servers i just sit in town, roll my items and then kill others, oh yay so much fun doing it everyday for months.

gz i dont even know whose player atm in smurfs, idc anw since i played most outside of map1 to build up my char and war ppl who do the same so i didnt have the chance to meet more than u,ancher and kiezara from that guild since i passed more time online in reds and well those who still are in .us and passed from nemesis still say that is the best guild they ever passed from, anw u didnt even been to nemesis so how u know how its inside it?

Asteria, now u fail to understand, i enjoy in a Official servers, but when im tired from Officials or sometimes when im negative rank and im lazy for do it, i go to play a p server, and when i get boring of the p servers (usually how im with my friends i wont get boring soon) i back to the Officials
And usually in a private server u get more fun in 7 days than in a 7 days playing official
As i said i go where i enjoy, before i enjoy the SG, i played the SG, when i was boring 100% of the SG, as now that u onlyc an do PvM, thing that i dont like to much, coz in PvP with 87 Resistance one guy does u 8k 1 skill)   i gave up and play .US, where now i enjoy a lot.
PD: SG should have the Dragon/Tiger acc like in the .US, where everyones can have it each day

You failed because u wasted 500 euro on an official and u were nowhere to be good lol. On .US i spent 0 and i was very good in both pvp and pvm. This is how you should play an official.

Thats why u failed on .us coz u sucked even after spending 500 euros lol.

i was just happy with my char that i could make dt run alone with my buffer without ac+5...

and when i had my first spa+0 that i bought(when it was worth much) i spended 50euro on it and next day i dropped cuz i had negative hkp (i didnt know that ppl drop items when their negative..) also dropped dgp where i used adders and changers... im just the unluckiest guy ever

in us before i got ip blocked i sold my eq cheap in a shop and with the money i got i bough many +4 stones tried to +5 than tried them all in a battle +7 and all failed XD and than ip blocked

Yes,in the officials u will have always your items and work that u have done, but maybe u dont get fun

Some is boring of all the days the same, lvl or Farm in HL, do Metins in RW and DTs  (In the SG u cant much more) and in a p server u can have a good PvP, new maps, farm new weapons, etc

If you refer to Chris aka monster i am lolling big time. Not sure how much he spent but for sure he did not reported some hackers or bug users because they won him in pvp. He wasnt good at pvp, he couldnt be bothered by being killed in pvp, all he did was farming and leveling.

He reported first some players from Lebanon wich used fake credit cards, ruining the games. And then he reported some bug abusers, wich got banned.

He wasnt like u or ur pathetic guild that got butthurted coz u lost a couple of wars lmao.

I'm just confused.. or I failed to understand your point. If I got my MOD tag on Z8 why am I related to subagames? I just created the account there (I'm not sure if I created my account on subagames or Z8games yet but I'll find out.)

well ive played GF,Z8 and now TEC the difference is that ALL mall in TEC is tradeable through buy as gift or trading options and u will always find ppl to sell IM things, so u have option to spend time or money so all are equal^^ the 1 spends time to make money IRL the other spends time to make money in metin^^

In my oppinion pservers have spoiled people totally, often you see people who join SG complain that "its hard to level up" (lol) or expecting to get everything for free from GM. To me it seems pservers made people forget the whole point of the game and make ridiculous demands.

They go play some pserver with 1000% rates and when they go into an official they say ooh its so hard! I actually have to put EFFORT! no way! and they leave. Chris do us all a favour and close all those stupid pservers so Metin can be the game it was earlier.

I suppose you havent played metin (or online games in general) for long then, there have always been people around begging gms/mods/higher lvl players for exp/items regardless of if private servers exist. Truth is mmorpg's arent for everyone and some people need time to figure it out.

Yes it does, and it related all server players. Some dont give a shit, but others does. Why some players waste 100 or 500 euro to get 10 demi on weapon, when Rophe get it for free? The funnyest part is that you think to make ppls believe the craps you say. You had first no reason to up the fan to +9, since you were 91 and said many times was not worth it.

Secondly to fail a weapon from +8 to +0 is a dam hard job, and you managed to do it in less then 1 day, i never saw you with salva +9 on hand lol

Changing the bonus and get the same 4 bonus except 8 slow -> 10 demi is almost impossible as well. The odds are so low that you have more chance to get hit by a meteor.

Now... Here's why Buddy'. 

We have 3 Cases here that are brought up. 
#1:  P servers
#2:  Roph's fan
#3:  Dutch's Opinion on the SG forum about the lvl 99 Helm.   (this will be addressed together with #2)


Let's examine #1.  You look down upon P server players it seems for a few reasons.  The first being that, yes, P servers are illegal.  However, just because something is Illegal doesn't mean I still can't make the choice to do it.  Have you ever downloaded music off the internet?  I know I have, and pretty much everyone who comes to these forums has.  So I shall assume you are no different than the rest of us.  If you are perfect by chance, that's fine, Kudos, but I'm going to use this Example saying that you did.  That was illegal.  But you still did it.  And I'm sure you'd defend and justify your doing so.  It was your choice - your free will - to do that said action. 

It is the same way with playing a Private server.  REGARDLESS of if it is legal for them to do such an action, they make that choice to do so.  Why?  They want to have fun.  Yes, FUN.  And for you to look down on them and judge that their opinion of Fun is Wrong and that they are, in-fact they can ONLY be (why else would you play?), terrible people who Failed at metin-2 or are just lazy idiots who don't know hard work...  I think that view is arrogant, flawed, and audacious. 

This is my BIGGEST problem with the way you approach the people who play P servers.  You refer to them as crybabies.  I can only assume you are referencing to Alpine mt2.  Yes, that was illegal, it was the consequence of an illegal action.  Nevertheless that does not make the people who played it "crybabies" or "bad players" or "noobs".  Who the FUCK are you to throw a Label on an entire community?  Under what Pretense and right do you claim to be able to Judge so many people - that you don't even know? 

You call them and their opinions and their criticisms as Wrong and as Spam on a Fucking public forum which ALLOWS for all to freely speak their mind.  You tell them "lol gtfo scrub".  That's like telling the victim of a ponzi scam,  "GTFO i wont listen to you, you fell for an illegal scam.  Your opinions are worthless."        HOW MUCH OF A PRETENTIOUS DOUCHEBAG would you have to be in rl to say something like that?  Well.... The Second Point you made was about Roph's fan. 

I used your post from the SG forum, in which you said a player, Dutch has no right to question or complain about another player's item because him having that item doesn't effect Dutch directly in-game.  That is Your words about how another player has no real reason to complain about someone else. 

Lets look at Roph's fan.  Regardless or not of how Roph got his fan, under your own reasoning.  You have no right to complain at all!  You Do Not!!  Roph having those stats on that fan has ZERO net impact on your personal experience ingame.  It does not relate to you at all in any way shape or form.  It doesn't matter if he rolled it or made it, or if it came with an acct he bought (aka the 99 helm on SG).  For you, it has no bearing on your character.  It has no impact on how you will play Metin.  It does not ask for your insight as to if he Should have it or not.  You Cannot Complain.   

Yet:  you inserted yourself into this particular topic in the first place.  You took roph's fan, an issue that doesn't relate to you at all... and you ran with it.  You spammed it everywhere on Z8 and Here and even mentioned it on the SG forum.  You wave your finger of justice at him alllllll day long saying "You're wrong!".  No one asked you for your opinion.  The GM's didn't, and I'm sure Roph didn't as well.  What gives you this right to complain when as I will show... You tell OTHER PEOPLE (on official servers) that they cannot ask their own questions.

Then along comes a guy, who I'll asume is no real power-player in SG, and he does the same thing - but in a much more respectful manner.  He say "Can we have a discussion about weather or not this guy deserves to own an item he did not work for"?   It does not relate to him, it does not impact him, that player who owns the helm now did not ask "hey man, am I allowed to own this?".      And THEN!  You stepped right back onto your soap box and told the poor guy to Sit his ass back down and shut up.  He's wrong too.  He has no right to complain.  You don't want to hear his opinion because you disagree, and therefore the entire DISCUSSION should not even have been brought up in the first place.  Because Crono86 thinks Dutch is Wrong and messed up with his logic, he should not even be allowed to express his "fallacious views" on a public forum. 

Yet even though the poor normal player Dutch is unable to express himself, the Almighty Crono - no doubt because he has played so long and knows so much and was big and important when both these events happened- You are allowed to hold that double standard for yourself.


 You may not see yourself and your actions in the way I do, and I can understand.  Most of us are quick to judge others and blind to our own faults.  I'm just as flawed as you are.  But I do not take your attitude towards other players, and I Will make my opinion of what you are doing perfectly clear.  You might disagree with me and call Me "the one who is wrong" or "misinformed" or "I'm using those examples totally wrong"  or "It doesn't work like that because xyz..."  Sorry in advance

While I am no p server veteran, I've played a good number of them.  From english servers to german and even romanian p servers.  My experience tells me that the majority of the players play there because they find it fun.  Not because they are "kiddies" or "crybabies".   Maybe that is your opinion and you can have that.  But your opinion is not fact.  Just as Crono's opinions are not fact.

He accuses Roph of owning an illegal item.  Lets rephrase this for a second, Crono is saying that Roph should not Own an item (his fan) because he didn't make it himself.  He has not Earned the right to own such an item.  It is an unfair advantage to him.  He has no problem with bringing up this issue at any possible point.  Even though he is NOT involved with this whatsoever.  He inserted himself into the whole debate in the first place and seems to have self-appointed himself the resident expert on the matter.  He is convinced he is right and refuses to accept another viewpoint, even though he has no real evidence to support his position.
 

The player Dutch suggests on the SG forum that the person who bought the acct on SG should not get to keep the lvl 99 helm with it - a reward for the hard work that it takes to level, which the new owner did not do.  Therefore, he does not deserve the reward.  Which is a reasonable argument, but it is simply his opinion.  Now, I will also say that what is brought into question in this scenario is different (ie: Bought acct vs How Roph got it), that issue is irrelevant.  Since there is no proof that Roph's fan is illegal, he is innocent until proven otherwise.  Roph Owning that fan has no effect on what Crono's ingame experience is going to be like, unless the 2 fight each other.  The same rationale is applied to the person who bought that account on SG.  The only difference is that everyone knows the player bought the account - because it's legal.  But we're not talking about legal.  We're talking about if other people (Crono at Roph and Dutch at the new acct owner) are allowed to question the basis for these things. 

Crono, by his own words, has essentially said that He has every right to constantly accuse Roph of owning an item he should not - when he doesn't have any solid proof.  At the same time he tells a lower level player, Dutch, that he has no right to discuss if a player should own/have an item or not, because regardless if it is right or wrong, Dutch is not effected in the slightest by that player being able to enjoy an item which he did not work for.     

I dont know about you but I find that logic very hypocritical.  I find it very selfish and very arrogant.  And to be honest I have a sneaking suspicion that Crono does not Take this player's opinion seriously, because he does not consider this person to be an "important player".  Maybe if he were a high level member of Heretics or another famous guild on SG, Crono would give the guy's words more value.  However that is my opinion and I have no evidence to demonstrate that, so I did not include that in my previous post.

That is my argument.  Not if it is necessarily right or wrong per se, but rather my point is to show Crono himself that he is applying a double standard to himself.  He thinks he is justified in doing something that he thinks other people have no real justification for doing.  And furthermore, in his case he has no proof, in Dutch's case, he needs no evidence to justify his questions.

It was shutted down due to this, and guess what? I did not cryed about it unlike this p server dudes are doing here or on SG server.

The level 99 helm was gifted as prize to reach level 99, it wasnt modded or hacked or w/e. What dutch proposed was since the player sold the account the helm should be deleted. This in my opinion is a bullshit.

Rophe fan was modded, its an insult for every player wich wasted money or time or both, trying to get 10 demi on weapon. So yes it concern me and everyone else.

Comparing this to dutch post make no sense

Not earned can mean several things, if i gift my char to a friend, he did not earned nothing in game, he just play a char played by some1 else, but still its legal.

What dutch wanted to say is to remove this helm since this guy who bought the level 99 char did not exped the char itself. I was against this, because the helm is not like roph fan, is not illegal nor modded and can be obtained by everyone in game.

As for the evidences i already told you, its 99,9% impossible to do what rophe did, in such short time, (and probably not even in one month having limitless zps). I think repeat what roph claimed to have done with his fan is pointless and even stupid.

Crono, by his own words, has essentially said that He has every right to constantly accuse Roph of owning an item he should not - when he doesn't have any solid proof.  At the same time he tells a lower level player, Dutch, that he has no right to discuss if a player should own/have an item or not, because regardless if it is right or wrong, Dutch is not effected in the slightest by that player being able to enjoy an item which he did not work for. 

Yes this is my point and it has a logic. The helm is not illegal, hence is not unfair if i sell it or gift it or trade it. The fan is, hence is not fair to the rest of the players of the server. You are probably a huge p server players, so since they are corrupted you are not affected by this shits. I am on the contrary a fair player, and i dont like to see this shits, expecially when they are so obvious.

I dont know about you but I find that logic very hypocritical.  I find it very selfish and very arrogant.  And to be honest I have a sneaking suspicion that Crono does not Take this player's opinion seriously, because he does not consider this person to be an "important player".  Maybe if he were a high level member of Heretics or another famous guild on SG, Crono would give the guy's words more value.  However that is my opinion and I have no evidence to demonstrate that, so I did not include that in my previous post.

The level has nothing to do with my opinions. I dont act superior or arrogant just because i am higher level. I anwered to him in a very polited way if you read that topic well. He got pissed, maybe coz he knew to be wrong, or he knew he was just jelly, and he started to provoke me with stupid insults. That is my argument.  Not if it is necessarily right or wrong per se, but rather my point is to show Crono himself that he is applying a double standard to himself.  He thinks he is justified in doing something that he thinks other people have no real justification for doing.  And furthermore, in his case he has no proof, in Dutch's case, he needs no evidence to justify his questions.

Never less P servers are illegal, playing them is still your own responsibility, but in my case, I never cried even once about a P server closing even if I was playing that one.

In my oppinion pservers have spoiled people totally, often you see people who join SG complain that "its hard to level up" (lol) or expecting to get everything for free from GM. To me it seems pservers made people forget the whole point of the game and make ridiculous demands.

They go play some pserver with 1000% rates and when they go into an official they say ooh its so hard! I actually have to put EFFORT! no way! and they leave. Chris do us all a favour and close all those stupid pservers so Metin can be the game it was earlier.
