Hi,


On 16 Mar 2011, Metin2Sg server has again received updates in our server from our developer.

Players may now farm in Heaven Lair 1st & 2nd floor where they can get Knight's Box which contains 4 different animal medal known as the Wolf Medal, Boar Medal, Tiger Medal & Lion Medal.



2nd floor of Heaven Lair has also been patched with a variety of item drop.

In addition, we have added a cute item known as the Ice-Cream giving 60% movement speed for 30 minutes.



As we all know, Metin2Sg is the ONLY server without any bot because most of our mall items are either giftable and some tradeable. With respect on that Passage Pass is now tradeable. (Of course, we do not have bot & hacker mainly due to a dedicated team of full-time salaried GMs who rotate on 24 hours & 7 days shift work to meet the needs of our dearest & most valuable users)

Within the next few days, we will also include 2 different Wing Boots & a 30 Days Language Ring in our Item Mall.

We have also been told that the next update would be the new texture and few other good things coming to Metin2Sg soon.

In game they announced that there will be also the mall mounts, higher value, equipable when you want like an emo mask and last for 2 hours. Those would be usefull

I'm glad to inform you that our server has been updated with a 2 hour medal for all those riding animals with enhanced bonus. Such medals can be removed with Ctrl + G and re-equipped. We will highlight those medals which can be purchased from the Item Mall soon.

Boschi, I also used to play on US server like 3-4 years ago but I quit at level 77 after being hacked due to GM's fault. They disabled the email recovery system, I also sent messages for 5 hours straight while the hacker was on my account trying to get access to my bank which had the items. I know they were WORKING that day in their office and simply didn't care. I discovered who hacked me the day after I was hacked while it took them 2 weeks to just "figure out" WHO THE HACKER was-.....-

You know what? They didn't care. Cuz they wanted me to spend MORE money on the server they didn't bother recovering any of the items.  I even called their office with Phone.

And now we learn GF is selling gold , I can guarentee you that they sell items and ban you for no reason cuz you bought shit from them,  which 99% chance is same in US. Roph case is ultimate example of corruption there, nonetheless I had fun playing on that server I will always miss my friends in Reprisal and Phantom.

And I deeply feel sorry for the people who still play there to be the best cuz they will NEVER be unless they are friends with GM's;) no offense to people that play solely for fun.

Thank God I was "hacked" so I didn't spend money and time on corrupt server.

This is why Sea is best no corruption, good support, many events, and for the people saying not enough players I laugh at these fools. There is definetly enough players just come and see NW sometime.

First of all shut the fuck up. You know why? I played on this server SINCE beginning so I know it better than you. Many legit players noticed the corruption in this server with COYOTE's case which if you didn't know sold MILLIONS of mall points from stolen credit card and brought more than 4000 statted items in the economy over a year. And GM's let him sell his stuff only cuz they would be able to demand money to unban the accounts which bought mall from this person.

 ANyway, I have bought mall while playing on US many times never got hacked, scammed even though it was easy as hell getting scammed there. I have had mall scammer noobs on my account trying to "steal" shit from me many times which I prevented by simply recovering  pass and making them logout. How can you blame ANY player for trying to buy mall items with in game gold and taking EVERY precaution not to get scammed/hacked? YOUR COMPANY and your words are absolutely pathetic and similar to GF's GM saying only ex-hackers/scammers play SG . LMAO fuck you.
Now listen,  It was 100% GM's fault for not warning any player before hand that email recovery will not be working for the next 3-4 weeks while changing forums etc., to Subagames (if I remember correctly)
 

Even if I was somehow guilty in this case explain me how GM's couldn't track who the hacker was when I figured it out next day by myself? I even messaged them said his name yet NOTHING was done.  They told me , yes the hacker was "this person" after 3 weeks...pathetic. That's how disgusting your customer service is.

Pls dont tell me that the US server is a good server to play, I swear ANY private server is better than US , at least you dont have to spend shit load of time or money and still suck at the server. Cuz thats HOW IT IS in US. No matter how much money you spend a legit player can NEVER be the best on US cuz they are not friends with GM's ...-.-

Remember those "SG guys" were your players before and they left for a reason. The fact that you tried to close down the only decent server and then silence its existance just adds to the dislike (to say it mildly) we have developed for you and GF. Since you censor whatever you like in your forums this "trolling" is the only honest feedback you will ever read.

What i dont understand is how a player from us/uk can say we talk rubbish if they never even tried sg. In what universe have they any rigths to judge what they have never expierenced themselfes. Meanwhile almost all we, who plays sg atm, have been playing uk/us before and WE DO KNOW how it was THERE and we do know how it is HERE, so we are the ONLY ones who have actually tried both servers and can fairly compair them. Oh Roph...you make me laugh on this one. If SG population increased so would the number of GM's= problem solved.
Chris is only waiting for a population increase to hire more GMs as the team can already handle the server well at this moment.
SG has way more than 2k players that logon from time to time but like 200-300 are really active like you said.
Don't be hatin this server, it had 6k players active the first week of the server with 2 channels being FULL which was abolished by GF and I remember the GM's constantly banning hackers and scammers even at that time with so many players. Go look at the old posts and number of registered users is almost 150k.

SG is the best server to play all it takes for someone to quit Gayforge or US server is to try it!
I mean you should be honest... whats the point of playing on Gayforge or US servers Roph-...-? A private server is much better than these and YOU KNOW IT. 0$ money spent your awesome player vs 3k dollars spent and your shit due to corruption on GF/US.

And, at least in PRIVATE SERVERS  you can achieve what you would otherwise achieve on US or GF in 3-4 years in 1 month...but remember, when your playing on these private, GF or US servers you should erase the "competition" factor due to corruption which gives players like me 90% of the fun in a MMORPG game. Seriously, if your aware of why you play any MMORPG you wouldn't pick US or GF servers perhaps even less corrupt private servers especially when there is a lot of money involved.

Personally, like many others I wouldn't be playing Metin in the first place if there was no fight between players on trying to achieve certain things *FAIRLY* (e.g, trying to make 9+ gear unlike private servers or trying to kill your arch-enemy *winks at Noob86) I am asking you: Would you want to bother trying to be the best poker player if cheaters are going to win at the end?
Lastly, I want to point out that on SG you can experience both fun and competition at constant rate. If you play continously like 30min-1hr per day you will have a good character in no time. In conclusion, if your playing Metin and you don't have fun while improving your character like a Pokemon game, QUIT RPG or MMORPG games.

If any legit hard working player is reading this, SELL YOUR ACCOUNT ON GF or US and spend 1/3 of the money on SG and you will be back at where you left on GF or US but without any corruption. Come ask some german players here if you need proof. All sold their accs and are 100% satisfied with fun amazing non corrupt server known as S.E.A.

You don't understand Roph. Your ASSUMING it will be impossible. IF we get 6k active players like we had on the first week of Metin SEA we will still have enough GM's. And I remember that GM's banned over 600 people on the first week of the server and they kept their performance til this day! You can ask Chris to pull out the record if you don't believe me. US server has 3-4k active players and they cannot deal with them. And on GF servers millions of player play but they all play on different servers. Each server wouldn't surpass 7-8k active player if you counted them. And with the money they make I am sure they can hire enough GM's.

And remember its the quality of the GM's ...not the quantity. Of course you wouldnt know about that since the server you and once I played on didn't have such.

We had 6k players active first week which was more than the players on US server. But thanks to G4box and GF it was ruined.

2 days ago i wanted to revive an acc pw in .us that rly was my, gave id,chars and lvls,way i putted zp with it,bank pw. Got reply today and .us GMs said me that none of those match to my acc (they proly lied or refered to the acc i sent the ticket xDDD)

Few days ago, elie gave a phone call to Layla demanding the account Mayahuel (Jules BM (the one who got with fake report her mpa+9)), Layla changed email of maya for him, made him a name change, he got the account

LOL noob, so what if SG has 300 active players??? We had  6k active first week alone but was ruined thanks to G4Box and GAYFORGE. Btw, private servers have more players and TRILLLION time better than US server. Why? On US server no matter what you do you can never be the best unless your friends with GM and your corrupt. So it is definetly better to play Private server, they have more players than US more updates than US less corrupt than US.

You can see Big Sox says that those numbers are "far" from their peak.  Which implies that they usually have far more than 244 players.  So far I've only seen you admit that there are only 200 - 300 players on SG. Either way.  There you go lol  What Boschi was referring to (at least as far as I can tell )

I am curious though, what is it about SG that makes you guys so quick to vehemently defend them?  Is it just the customer service?  Are you on staff there Life?  Perhaps as a mod or GM?   Or are you simply a player?  Crono at one time was a reseller, no idea if he still is.  So I can see why he defends them so strongly.  But I just wonder, if you're just an average player, nothing more, what is it that holds your loyalty so firmly?  Do you think that your experience with US has anything to do with how strongly you feel about SG?

I am just an average joe on SG. I play this server as a hobby my friend. I woulda continued on US server if it was the original server I played on which I really loved. I was even addicted to it at one point and the thing is I accomplished what I couldn't accomplish on US without basically breaking a sweat on SG  in less than 8 months.  Of course without the knowledge I gained beforehand, it would have surely taken me longer ...I remember farming on US with battle sword 7+ LOL. Anyway, I am really fond of this server because it offered me what US server couldn't offer.

Proffessional Team, many events, and of course no corruption (which at that time thought didn't exist on US)...
Good thing I quit before I was involved in the drama


EDIT: Also, don't forget SEA server was one of the most anticipitated servers EVER. WHY? The server's owner was a player himself.

@ Crono - When a person is employed by a company, they have a vested interest in how that company does.  You are paid as a reseller, a person paid by a company is an employee, yes?  As a reseller it would benefit you more if more people play SG.  More people playing means more people buying.. what is it called there TP?  And that means you'll have a better chance to sell more and make more money.  That's just common sense    

Why do you always insist I hate SG?  I don't hate SG, US, UK, PT, or any other metin2 server.  I simply don't care enough about any of them to hate them.  You're projecting dear.  And I think many people defend things because they reap a personal benefit. It's the nature of humans.

So i dont give a dam if more americans, romanian serbian or whatever nationatily join the servers, since i can get my % only from italians. This % is so low that i cant even call it income. I have a work i dont need to be paid from a game.

I just do it to help those italians who cant get tps in any other way (wich means that who can buy tps with paypal or other sistem dosnt buy from me, this lower even more that little %)

We defend it because it's like other servers were long time ago, a nice place to play the game and not some goldselling maffia's toy.

Last I heard in DE server Soulstones go for 300kk. How's that for inflation, and the GF-approved goldsellers must be happier than ever now that it's impossible to play the game without using their services.

Eventually people will get tired of this and some project manager at GF office will blame SG or pservers for the losses to avoid getting fired.
