Topic: Gameforge's 2nd Test Server Registration - Epic Armors, Epic Shoes, New Helmets

First thing's first, registrations are now open for the test server, so those interested should hurry and create their accounts now!

Epic Armors
You read that correctly, Gameforge is the first third party publisher to implement the long-awaited epic armors! This goes right back to our very first article, back in April 2010, in which Z8Games announced that these would arrive on Metin2 US in Summer 2010. They must surely have egg on their faces by now.

As was theorized by many players, the epic armors are created from a level 66 armor at +9. Extra upgrade items are required, and not the Fencing Pamphlet required to craft epic weapons. New items are required, and these are Dragon Claws and Dragon Scales. As you may have guessed, these two items will drop from the level 97 Beran-Setaou dragon.

The ultimate challenge, for the ultimate prize

The requirements are as follows:

Black Steel Armour+9 + x3 + x4 + 200,000 Yang =	Blue Steel Armour+0
Black Wind Suit+9 + x3 +  x4 + 200,000 Yang =	Blue Dragon Suit+0
Magic Plate Armour+9 + x3 + x4 + 200,000 Yang =	Dragon Plate Armour+0
Black Clothing+9 + x3 + x4 + 200,000 Yang =	Dragon Clothing+0

And now the part many people will be waiting for; a rundown of the stats for the armors, for each upgrade level:

Just like crafting epic weapons, these armors can be created at the same Seon-Pyeong NPC in the orc valley. The upgrade from level 66 armor at +9 to the epic armor has a 100% chance to succeed.

Epic Boots
Not to be outdone, Gameforge are also introducing epic boots! Who would have thought? The 4 highest level sets of boots (levels 47, 51, 55 and 59) can be made into epic boots. Once this is done, the resuling +0 epic boot will be level 65. As it is upgraded, it will increase to level 75.

Ecstasy Shoes+9 + x2 + x3 + 125.000 Yang = Euphoria Shoes+0
Nimbus Shoes+9 + x2 + x3 + 125.000 Yang = Glory Boots+0
Phoenix Shoes+9 + x2 + x3 + 125.000 Yang = Quilin Shoes+0
Fire Bird Shoes+9 + x2 + x3 + 125.000 Yang = King Fisher Shoes+0

The epic boots don't receive an extra additional stat (such as % vs devil for epic weapons), but the normal stat of the boots (such as casting speed for Ecstasy Shoes) continues to increase throughout the upgrades of the epic version.

New Helmets
The final addition is a set of two new helmets for each class. They will drop throughout the Grotto of Exile. We don't know their stats yet, but we can at least show you their icons and levels.

The stats should become apparent as players discover them in the test server.

We will be covering the run of the test server similar to last time when it opens. When it does open, we encourage you to submit any great screenshots or videos you get from it, we would like to post them for everyone to see.

Boots are really nice, if they get 1% each up, u will end to get 20% block or 20% skill speed wich is nice.

As for helms, i am really curious to see what bonus they get, probably speed attack and regen hp

How is the test server,will it be like new world and free kingdom?
In the last time I don't know what to do,in free kingdom I have 700kk but can't do anything special with them,in sea I left time ago,I still have equipment but there are already people level 86 
Shall I restart there?

Crono in guild wars of invasions the hp reg is good in my opinion, it helps some tiems, but its good for pvp
maybe if it hasnt got negative mov speed it iwll be better
And im agree with the shoes, 20 skill speed or 20 block will be amazing
And with the helms maybe we will have a surprise and it gives int for sura and mage, str for warrior or dex for assassins

Epic shoes are a piece of..., a design epic fail, they look like ditchdigger boots painted with shiny paint. They look worse than lv43 shoes.

However, epic helmets are really EPICAL!! They look so awesome! They remind me of the unique and set helpets in Diablo II http://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/sets/ They really did it with them!
