TEC-Interactive CEO Christopher Chia has posted a writeup outlining the strong stance that his company takes against hackers. Alot of transparency in their operations has become a mantra of TEC-Interactive, and it is revealed that most actions a player can do are logged and checked.
This helps those with a trained eye to easily spot and punish players who would use hacking exploits or automation tools to attempt to gain an unfair advantage in the game. The tone against the hackers and how effortlessly
Metin2 SG captures them is an almost mocking one, which is great.
Additionally, Chia has revealed that talks have started between TEC and INCA Internet over possible hack protection for TEC's titles, including Metin2.
INCA is the creator of N Protect GameGuard, a widely used tool protecting MMORPGs, shooters and the like all around the world. He notes that it only really becomes economically feasible for a publisher to employ such protection when they have a broader range of titles, usually 3 or more. This probably makes the news that TEC plans to publish 2 new games shortly even better.

With now both Gameforge and TEC-Interactive stepping up in their anti-hacking measures, this currently leaves Z8Games behind and in the dark. This isn't good, if the video here is anything to go by.
