A fortnight ago a little package was released by Metin2 SG player Nyabinghi that greatly simplified the process of using a proxy server to bypass the IP Block on
Metin2 SG.
In our testing it worked perfectly and with good performance, however some players still experienced issues playing, or even starting the tool at all. To this end, a newer version has been released, aptly titled Metin2SG Antiblock v2.

Now players need no longer deal with batch files or file paths, simply extract the .zip file somewhere and run antiblock.exe to play. Once again we tried this and it worked great, both from Northern America and the United Kingdom.
If players still have any issues, they are encouraged to report them in the forum thread on Metin2 SG's forums.

Thank you very much for advertising my little program
Some people reported their MSN Messenger stopped working while using this. I have issued a fix for this problem here:
http://gamepath.furiaroja.eu/MSNFix.zip
Jus extract the file in the Antiblock_v2 folder, overwriting the old Current.prx and that's it.
the link to download the antiblock is not working anymore :/
it's built in to the client now, just download it from metin2.sg
