Signups are now temporarily open for gameforge's 3rd beta server for the Devil's Catacomb. Most likely they will close again after another 4,000 registrations, so if you want to get in, hurry! You can sign up here. Signups are now closed again after 4,000 new accounts were quickly created. There may be additional signup periods as time goes on, so keep checking the beta homepage for signup status!

[Update] At last the server finally opens, and boy is it packed. The test server has 4 channels, though whichever one you pick, you can expect to start surrounded by many players. Our sympathy goes out to those with slower computers!


As always, players receive premade characters. This time around the characters are level 80, lower than the previous test server's 94. This shouldn't make much difference though, as once again everybody has a full set of very nice gear. We chose Sura for this test server, and here is what is found equipped:


It appears that every class receives only their Level 75 weapon. If the stats on our two Suras are anything to go by, it also looks like the statistics on the items are predetermined instead of randomly generated, a great improvement over previous beta incarnations that left players waiting for 10 minute cooldowns to change stats on their items.

Players also receive an entire inventory page full of polymorph marbles, along with more yang (gold) than they will ever need. There are also many General Store Saleswoman NPCs dotted around the map, all of which serve up the same set of items:

The catacomb entrance is down the side of demon tower, in the previously unoccupied empty spot, reachable by turning right at the T-section where going left would lead you to the Tiger Ghost boss. As an update to the map, the groud sort of "corrupts" as you come to the entrance:

After I press Start Game, i get that error and it closes. Anyone knows how to fix that?

That map is also known as the Dragon Run map on P servers so any P server people should be familiar with it
