One annoying bug that is well known to almost all long-time Metin2 players, the infamous "DT timeout bug", is now fixed for Metin2 DE, with the same fix on its way to Gameforge Metin2 US and Metin2 UK.


Occurring on timed floors, the bug manifests itself when players move to the next floor, but the timer is not cancelled. This sometimes leads to the frustrating situation of almost clearing the monsters from the 6th floor and spawning the blacksmith, only to be kicked out due to the time limit from the 5th floor expiring.

Some players theorize that having their horses summoned is related, as while players are instantly teleported, horses will run the distance between the floors (groups of floors are all one large map). This means that for a while, the previous floor is still "populated", albeit only by horses.

BTW. I wonder why Polish version of Metin is a lil bit ignored on Liquiron forum...
All the patches/events/news etc. that happen on DE, UK, US Gameforge serves often happen on polish M2 too, and you never mention it
Polish M2 compared to other TR,UK,US is much bigger community than you think.

Liquiron is an English site, that covers English language Metin2 servers (look in the sidebar on the main site: US, GFUS, UK, SG)

We pay attention to DE because first Gameforge itself is german, and second DE often gets various updates first (an update coming to DE server means 99.9% that it will come to other GF servers soon also)

For the same reason sometimes we will mention metin2 KR, since YMIR is the developer and KR is their server, often getting updates first.

If there is something unique happening to PL or another GF server you are welcome to submit it, though not common gameforge updates (see above), as they are presumed for all servers, not unique. submitting cool videos for video spotlights is good

Maybe it was Ymir, but just coz SG fixed it before the other servers. Otherwise all servers would got this patch now, SG got it fixed since months.

Spending so much time on Sg forum, u shouldnt have missed the thread where GAs announced they have find solution they have been looking for for a very long time, they also explained what they changed so it works.

And like Crono said, if it was Ymir who fixed it, other server should have gotten it right when we did, but we have it fixed for couple month already, so bite me ^_^

The patch that fix problems cames to all server on the same day and this is a fact.

When a guy hacked ymir making all servers into test server (so that everyone had gm powers) all servers were fixed in the same day, and even at the same hour (korean time)

So talk with facts, updates are one thing, patch are others

I don't see no bugs after patch. It takes 3 hours, wow! That's a long time !!! (especially at midnight where there is low amount of people on than usual).

You should know this, GF+ G4 kept saying they got the bug fixed but it wasn't the case for like 4 YEARS. Is it a coincidence that the bug got fixed on GF 2-3 months after SG actually did fix it?? So yes, you guys should be thankful to TEC for fixing this bitch bug that made you waste 30mins for nothing.

And of course, GF will say in co-operation with YMIR but who actually showed how to fix it to YMIR? Seriously, learn to give credit.
Like I kept saying before, competition between Official servers is only beneficial for the players regardless of the server you play on.

 there are multiple niggles with liquiron's code that I'm not in a hurry / don't have to rush to fix, but if someone sql insects the site (as happened multiple times to sg) I'm going to get on that immediately. for years metin2 has been the same way. you can't just deny / twist reality to suit your own opinion lol.

Your assuming that Ymir rush to fix all servers only in case of security issues. This is a bullshit.

Frenzy bug was fixed in .US and the same day on .IT and it wasnt a matter of security.

The Might + AOS hack was fixed the same day on z8 and on GF servers. On the same day bots stopped to have 2 skills of different class.

Fire Duration of mages was added the same day in both GF and z8 servers.

I don't know what you mean about denying or twisting reality, i am saying that the bug fixes came to all servers the same day, i dont get why you say its not true lol.

i dont really care if server is down now, but they do way better job then res gf+g4 in 4 years.

Besides league of legends servers maintence sometimes takes 12+ hours, not talking that 2 months ago u coudnt log at all in game cuz server was always full. So this "little" down just makes me laught compared to LoL. + after server back there will be tons events + 100% exp bonus so fk ya jajajaj xD

SG has it's own developer team. All publisher are allowed to make bug fixes and improovment if they have the tools to do it. Z8 dosnt have a developer team, hell it dosnt even have a team that speaks proper english lol.

As i said when a bug affect all kind of servers, ymir fix it in the same day for everyone, just like the bugs that i mentioned above.

If SG fixed the tower bug 3 months before GF, means that it did on it's own and not thanks to ymir.

All publisher can make their own updates. Epic armor is not z8 or TEC or GF update, is ymir, so they all need to wait that ymir pass them this update. However if a publisher want to make something, it can do it.

Same shit happens with bug fixes. Ymir is forced to fix bug even if i have no clue if they have a deadline, coz some bugs were fixed after 4 years lol. However if the publisher have the tools to fix it, it can do it, just like sg did with the demon tower, or like they did with the skills. Do you see any other server where the skills like Heroic strike or might dosnt fail when caster once your just dead? No, just on SG. Was ymir that fixed this bug? hell no.

I know what happens in my server but u should learn reading posts. We talk about who fixed it not who failed while trying. When they putted that skeleton npc they kept getting ch bug and insane lag, you can read it from the comments, so no it wasnt fixed 2 months ago. I still have friends who plays there and they got the bug too. So if its fixed, its fixed this month.

Wrong, delaying the run by 1 minute wont stop the bug, the codes were removed coz they werent supposed to be showed.

I got used to it already, same as 80% of NW players.
No one did complain (during last 3-4 weeks) about 'Time Over, You failed' bug but that's not because it has been fixed (no one really knows if it has been fixed or not) but because players avoid leaving poisoned/slowed mobs, horse at 5thfloor and the FREAKIN SLOW metin respawn from 1st floor will prevent having 2 DTs on same CH pretty much.

Players from GameForge servers should get used to it, or at least try to avoid it as much as they can. :p

Maybe after 1st shut down they had 250, but now much more.

Some of your players said that GameForge stolen the idea from Tec (without proofs ofc) and since stealing is illegal in real life, I asked him why they didn't do anything about it. (Since it's their idea wich have been stolen and since it has nothing to do with YMIR because gameforge stolen the idea from tec not bought it from YMIR)
Oh and, didn't Christopher say that he owns Copyrights when he had to deal with Private servers (because all officials do own copyrights) ?

lol what fail xD? i and some other expected that gf and g4 will finnaly fix it, cuz lol .sg beeing such small company fixed it in less then 2 years, then gf and g4 CANT in 4-5 years. + they all runs metin2 publisher ymir entertainment developed game, so why we coudnt gues? that if .sg fixed it, patch of .sg will be used to fix gf and g4 server "time over" bug.

Who cares? I dont gve a dam that GF and g4 havent yet fixed time out bug. Some people who said that they used sg fix, may have been wrong or they obviously are wrong, if GF still got the bug, but that doesnt covers the fact that the only one who failed here is GF fixing DT bug LOL.
