The "Clown Event" is something that originated as a player-created event on Metin2 US, which was later adopted by the server's staff. Now comes the third iteration.

A nation votes a player to be their "clown". This clown must stay in their nation's main city, in a non protected area. The rest of the nation must then attempt to defend their own clown, while simultaneously trying to kill the clowns of other nations. The nation whose clown lives the longest is declared the winner.

Applications are open from today. The event itself will take place on December 10th, at 10:00am - 11:00am for the New World server, 11:30am - 12:30pm for Free Kingdom.
